I have decided to take part in Jurrasic Coast 100 km challenge to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.
I am doing this in memory of our friend Kate Maura Jones whom we lost to cancer last year. Kate was a star that accepted her fate and lived her life to the fullest, traveling the world and making new friends wherever she went. Always had time to listen and was cracking the best jokes! I was amazed by the way she dealt with her illness and how considerate of others she remained until her last days. Some people will never be forgotten!
As she said:
"This isn`t goodbye, this is only until we meet again. It's been a blast. See you on the other side"

According to the most accurate forecast to date from Cancer Research UK 1 in 2 people will develop cancer at some point in their lives. Millions of people die from cancer every day but if it's caught early enough it can be well-managed or even cured... To help with that, I am ready to push my limits taking a walk/jog/run through a challenging route on the 13th-14th of May 2023. I am getting ready by training 6 days a week and doing 12.5 km every Sunday morning to improve my endurance. It's not easy to squeeze it in working full time and being a mum but I am fully committed to completing this challenge for such an amazing cause.

If your help can mean someone can get cured or be able to spend more time with their loved ones then no amount is too small...
