According to NHS stats, more than 850,000 people in the UK suffer with dementia every year. My parents were/are among those stats. My mum with Vascular dementia and now Dad with Alzheimer’s.
To raise funds and awareness I’m cycling *200 miles* in June for @dementia_uk to help parents and their families with specialist nursing care and support.
I appreciate how much the pandemic has taken its toll on all our pockets. For many dementia sufferers and families it’s also added to the strains of living with this illness. If you can share awareness or sign up to the 100 mile challenge yourself, everything helps. Thank you.

Want to join me in supporting a good cause? I'm raising money for Dementia UK and your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate £5 or £500. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support. I've included information about Dementia UK below.
Dementia UK is a national charity, committed to improving quality of life for all people affected by dementia. We provide mental health nurses specialising in dementia care, called Admiral Nurses.
