At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

When your best friend is Walker by name and Walker by nature, it's no surprise when she roped me into this challenge, well to be fair it didn't take much to persuade me.

I'm very proud to be taking part in this event to raise awareness and money for Alzheimer's Society. Having seen how the effects can change the dynamics for a family when a member is suffering from this heartbreaking, life changing disease.

The Welsh 1000 walk is a major event on the 16th April 2016 which will  circumnavigate Wales, including Anglesey using the unique Welsh Costal Path & Offa's Dyke and I will be walking part of the Pembrokeshire coastline.

Please help me raise funds for the Alzheimer's Society so they can continue their battle against this disease.
