Story

Thanks for visiting Maggie & Chris's JustGiving page.

We're running the Virgin London Marathon 2014 for Help the Hospices. As friends and colleagues we both have personal experience of the importance of good care at the end of life for families and communities.  As teachers and researchers we know that good care needs great effort and lots of support.

Help the Hospices believes that hospice care should be at the heart of communities, enabling people to care for those affected by death and dying.  It also promotes research activity and evidence-based practice at one of the most vulnerable times of people's lives.

We're both keen runners and we think there's a very good chance that we will be crossing that finishing line on 13th April 2014!

Please support us as much as you can by making a donation, large or small, to our fundraising campaign. Together with Help the Hospices we can make a difference and help to change lives: http://www.helpthehospices.org.uk/.
