I've been working at Maggie's as the Community Fundraiser in Edinburgh for just over a year now and I think it's about time I undertook a major challenge for the charity. 

There are two reasons for this, they are an incredible help to so many people affected by cancer and it's been far to long since I pushed my body and mind to it's limit.

To say I am excited is an understatement!

I'm planning to run roughly 500-600 miles over the course of 6-7 days in July 2014 

I'll start running from Maggie's Edinburgh then head over to the Glasgow centre, from there I will run to tInverness along the West Highland Way and Great Glen Way.

From there I'll head over to the Aberdeen centre, down to Dundee, then Fife and back to Edinburgh for a few beers!

Is it going to be brutal? Probably

Am I going to have the time of my life? Definitely!

Will it be as tough a journey as someone going through Cancer? Definitely not
