I have recently taken up running. I LOVE IT. It gives me perspective, and a goal. I have just signed up to do the half marathon, meaning I have only ONE month to train for it. I will be running alongside my dad who is 60, and has been running for 30 years (I started at the same age he did). The furthest I have run yet is 10 miles (once) meaning I have a long way to go! This is going to be a huge challenge as it's not just a flat half marathon, it is off road, through the woods with steep inclines. I have never done anything like this so it is definitely a challenge.  

I am looking to raise money for the amazing British Heart Foundation, who give so much to many people with heart conditions and support to their families. They are the UK's number one heart charity and through 50 years of funding cutting edge research they have already made a big difference to people's lives. Every penny counts towards this amazing organisation. If you can donate £2, £5 anything will help not only towards BHF, but towards my motivation on the day. It will definitely get me through! A huge thank you to Gary for making this possible!
