Everyone has their own reasons for doing a marathon, some love running, some love a challenge but everyone wants to make a difference and raise money for amazing charities.

#TEAMSHOC is made up for 12 individuals who all have a connection with SHOC, some work their, some have used their service but all love and appreciate the hard work that goes into providing their amazing service.

We want to raise £10,000 so this service can continue so everyone who walks through the doors of SHOC can get the help, care and support they need, a hot meal, and a dry place to feel safe.

A little bit about SHOC ...

Slough and the surrounding area is a region badly affected by homelessness and social exclusion. 

SHOC (Slough Homeless Our Concern) is a day center that exists to provide care for the homeless in Slough and those at risk of becoming so. It is the only center within a 20-mile radius that offers the homeless both crisis care and long term transformational help towards independence.
