Story

Margaret was a wonderful, inspirational and loving Wife, Mum, Gran, Sister, Aunty and Friend.

Margaret led a full, creative and spiritual life as both Cartographer and Mother. Since her diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis in 1982, she found strength and determination every single day to ensure her illness did not define her or extinguish her lust for life, which Michael enabled with his unfaltering love, care and compassion.

In February of 2000 Margaret discovered Leuchie House . She would take two holidays here each year here, a much needed respite break for both her and Michael... Margaret would spend a fortnight with her girlfriends and Michael would kick back in the garden or walk up a Munroe!

Leuchie House offers 24hr nursing care, activities, outings, physiotherapy and home-made food for both Day Care and Holiday Stays. It's a stunning, 18th century classical mansion house set in the rolling East Lothian countryside near the coastal town of North Berwick.

Please give generously to Leuchie House so that others can enjoy the companionship and support that was so beneficial for her wellbeing.

Thank you very much, from Margaret's family
