Story

James James Kitchens holds a coffee morning every year to fundraise for cancer research and charities who support cancer patients and their families, we will be holding this at our showroom in West Kirby on Friday 27th September 2024 from 11am-3pm.

We know that so many people are personally affected by cancer so by holding this event and utilising this fundraising site we can do our bit to help within our local communities and support those who are in need at such a difficult time.

Maria's story started when her husband fell ill at 38 years of age with 2 stage 4 glioblastomas (brain tumours) Paul died within 5 months of his diagnosis leaving Maria and her 2 young children behind, Molly and Jack then 8 & 6.  Roll on 11 years and Maria's Mum Thelma died from Non- Hodgkin's lymphoma a secondary cancer appearing as brain lesions/tumours she survived for only 3 months.  Sadly and more recently Maria's family have been hit again with her sister-in-law having been diagnosed with Mantel Cell Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and her Nephew diagnosed with a Pineal brain tumour at only 18, sadly his cancer has returned after a year of being free of the disease so you can see why our motivation is high to try and do as much as we can to make that difference.

If you are unable to make the coffee morning, just know your donation today is making a huge difference.

So from the bottom of our hearts we Thank You for your support x

From all of us at James James Kitchens, you are amazing xxx
