Maria is running a marathon to Raise Money for Warwick in Africa · 23 April 2017

A gift to Warwick changes lives. Donors support students with scholarships and bursaries, fund vital medical research and help communities across the globe from Coventry to Africa. We can't wait to hear about your project too - thank you for your support!

Story

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.

I am running the Blackpool marathon on the 23rd April to raise money for Warwick in Africa. This amazing charity helps young adults and new generations across Africa and this summer I will be going to Ghana to help make a difference through teaching Mathematics.

Sponsoring me is an opportunity for you to make a difference too. Just £10 will teach one child for a whole month, giving them invaluable Maths and English skills. £150 will pay for resources for an entire school, meaning children can have the textbooks they need, a new chalkboard or sports equipment. ALL the money raised goes to Warwick in Africa, paying for resources, teaching and necessary equipment.

This is my first marathon and I have never done something like this before. At Christmas I was struggling to run 5k but I am going to push myself to my limit and raise money for Warwick in Africa!
