Over 1.5 million in the UK have endometriosis and the impact of the disease is for some devastating, yet diagnosis takes on average 8 years. With your donations we are turning this around, raising awareness, providing support and information, supporting research, and campaigning for change.

Story

I am running the Edinburgh 10k and the Loch Ness 10k to raise money for Endometriosis UK. It won’t be a fast run, that’s if I’m able to fully run it. My health hasn’t been great the last few months. I am 1 in 10 women in the UK who has endometriosis. Endometriosis spreads, grows and damages organs. It causes pain. It causes lethargy and decline in mental health. It incapacitates. It impacts many parts of the body, not just the uterus. It comes back after being surgically removed. It doesn’t just affect physical health, it has an impact on mental health, financial stability, social circles and family.

There is no cure for endometriosis.
