As most of you know myself and Mandy are keen cyclists and enjoy spending many hours out on the roads.  So this year we decided to take on a new challenge and use our much loved hobby to help raise money for The Christie. 

In September 2018 we will be cycling from Paris to Nice, via Geneva – yes that’s right heading straight for the Alps, we’ve been told the scenery will be amazing although we’re not sure how much of it we will see whilst we are battling up those mountains.  As I will hopefully be at the top waiting for Mandy to arrive, I will have a few minutes to catch my breath and take in the views with a couple of photos so I can let her know what they are like......only if she doesn't get there first!!

We will be cycling approximately 1,050km over 9 days, luckily day 5 is a rest day and trust me we’ll need it by then.

Because we enjoy cycling and this is something we wanted to do, we decided to self-fund this challenge which means every penny we raise in donations will go to The Christie.  Over recent years, some of our very close friends have sadly lost loved ones to cancer and even though there is nothing we can do to stop this horrible disease, your support can help to fund life-changing and potentially life-saving projects that will benefit cancer patients both now and in the future.
