Unfortunately we all know someone who has or is going through a life threatening illness, if you don't then count yourself lucky.

When their struggle gets too much for family and friends to cope, or they are unable to provide the necessary care. The thought of spending the last days in a hospital bed is a dread for many.

I'm doing this ride in memory of everybody who has lost there struggle, however during the ride Richard will be foremost in my mind as we have embarked on a couple of these things together. Although they were all his idea. If there is a form of afterlife he's going to be laughing his socks off on the day.
