When mum, Patricia, was diagnosed with leukemia, I witnessed an amazing network of support that was available for her. Physical, mental and spiritual care that made a difficult period so much easier to cope with. We will always be eternally grateful,  and I knew that I wanted to raise funds to help that incredible network continue. But what?

I was having a heavenly chat with mum in my garden, when a robin jumped out of the privet hedge in front of me , cocked his head to one side and just starred at me for a moment, I knew then that dad was trying to catch my attention. Of course I was non the wiser, until less than 5 minutes later a post from Neil popped up on my phone seeking volunteers for a fundraising skydive... It seemed like destiny...

Now, the only question that remains is: Am I really going to jump out of a perfectly good aircraft with a giant bedspread and a 6' 2" former Marine for company?...
