Dear Friends,

Through your generosity, Robbie's Rehab has now been launched by the NHS - 100% funded by robbiesrally. Currently we have one employee, one being selected and 5 more in planning. We hope that all 7 employees will be in place by June 2019. Having raised £260,000, we are 40% of the way to the £650,000 that is needed to establish Robbie's Rehab for at least 3 years.

Children recovering from brain tumours can be very seriously compromised even though they have been discharged home. Rehabilitation, other than whilst an inpatient, is very difficult to obtain unless the patient and their families are able to wait many weeks to get to the top of the list.

The aim of Robbie's Rehab is to employ dedicated staff for the children and thereby cut the waiting times to zero for qualifying children within the Wessex NHS area.

Following on from last year's 14 marathons in a kayak - robbiesrow - Harry and Mark are this year continuing the theme but this time on foot. They will be running around all of Southampton's 10 shared-care hospitals (the Wessex NHS area) between 19th and 28th of August - a marathon every day for 10 days.
