London Marathon 2018 · 22 April 2018 ·

The Virgin Money London Marathon is the largest annual fundraising event on the planet - runners have raised over £750 million for good causes since the race began in 1981.

Story

I have been lucky to get a place at the London Marathon 2018 through my running club, Swansea Harriers. Although I run regularly I have never run this far before!

As well as the individual reward of running this event, I have decided to use this opportunity to raise some money for a charity that does some incredible work. Dementia is something that has impacted my family recently. The Alzheimer's Society undertake research into this condition and provide support services for people with dementia, their family, friends and carers.

So whether you would like to show your support for me getting my pasty white legs out again on the 22nd April or just want to make a donation please do.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
