Endure24 Leeds is a trail running race against the clock to tackle as many laps of our stunning course, at Bramham Park, as you can in 24 hours. Epic, Brutal, Relentless.

I aim to complete as much running in the 24 hours allotted time limit to raise funds for Alzheimer's Research UK. I love to run, and support charities... I have decided to do my bit in memory of my Grandma, and countless other families who witness how Alzheimer's can change a person. 

It was almost funny to start with when you turned up at her house, and were offered a cup, then offer a second cup of tea not long after.... plus the amount of biscuits I was made to eat! But things can quickly change, the saddest was not seeing her not recognise her own children. Those who have lost loves ones will relate that you lose the person twice.

This year I would like to raise as much as I can, whilst challenging myself to a distance I have not attempted before (and will probably not be daft enough to try again, well... may be not). Wish me luck, I may need it... but there is a good group of Team Savvy who are taking part! 🧡😃
