This page has been created on behalf of the Glew family to raise Money in the memory of Mark Glew. Mark was diagnosed with cancer for the second time in August 2018 and fought one hell of a battle surpassing all expectations the whole way along. 

Mark's family and Ty Olwen staff provided care for Mark, and his stays in the hospice were made as comfortable and warm as possible. The staff made both Mark and his family feel valued and showed empathy and respect along their journey too. 

On the morning of September 10th Mark peacefully passed away surrounded by his family in Ty Olwen and even the staff were blown away by Mark's tenacity, appreciation and strength until the very end.  We have been sincerely touched by the staff we have met and would like to continue on Mark's appreciation. 

Ty Olwen relies heavily on donations to be able to provide this valuable level of care to patients and their families. Should you wish to make an expression of sympathy,  memorial contributions can be made to the Ty Olwen charity in memory of Mark who was very much loved by all that met him.
