Hero Challenge is a team tournament day where teams of four from all over Capita come together to compete for the Hero Challenge Trophy. The day involves a variety of mental and physical challenges from canoeing to rock climbing to solving puzzles, all of which will be undertaken by the Marketing Turtles in 'turtles in a half-shell style' fancy dress whilst raising money for our cause.

We thought you'd like to know a little bit more about the people that form ‘Marketing Turtles’ with a light-hearted introduction to the four members of the team who work in the Marketing side of Capita SIMS and SIMS Independent. There's a real mix of characters and we’ve made it real easy for you to remember by picking three of them with the same name!

Becky - Leonardo

Daredevil Becky has promised to continue her love of jumping out of planes by planning a grand entry for this year’s competition. Quite how feasible that is remains to be seen, but it certainly sounds good on paper. Becky is also a dab hand in the kitchen and will be providing cakes aplenty in the build up to the competition, so start getting your orders in now!

Bex - Michelangelo

Bex is the one remaining member of last year’s marketing team, who successfully came away with the much coveted accolade of ‘best dressed’. Bex has her eyes on the prize again this year, so expect something special in terms of the costume get-up. And in case you’re wondering if you recognise Bex from the TV, that may well be the case as she actually appeared on and won Pointless a few years back – it’s either from that show or her more frequent dabbles on Tinder!

Rebecca - Donatello

Having been turned down for a slot on the revamped Crystal Maze, Rebecca is determined to prove them wrong by going all out at the Hero Challenge. How about this for a fact of the day, Rebecca was once ranked ninth in the world at playing Pac-Man. Hopefully, this proves useful on the mental challenges on offer, as Rebecca is now aiming to complete a rubix’s cube in under 10 seconds.

Stef - Raphael

Stef is the resident fitness guru, regularly taking part in CrossFit challenges and half marathons in her lunchtime. This should help to give the team an extra edge, as Stef has confessed she will not come back unless they finish in the top 5 (challenge accepted!). Stef has also been told to change her name to Rebecca by deed poll, so this profile may need a quick edit nearer the time.
