I've been living in Uganda for the past 6 months and I've just started a new role as a project manager at African Village Support. I'll be working alongside two exceptional local managers of the AVS Community Centre focusing on women's groups and their livelihood projects as well as helping the centre to become self-sustained. 

The NGO is making a big difference to the lives of villagers in rural eastern Uganda; working together with students and schools, women's groups and the youth to develop sustainable projects with the aim of achieving self sufficiency.
