People are often inspired by the care they or their family have received. Oxford Health Charity enables people to show their thanks and support the services provided by Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We are riding, but on stationary turbo trainers at the Fulbrook Centre!

Exercise is key to recovery in mental health. Which is why when our trusty treadmill broke at the Fulbrook Mental Health Centre for Older Adults we decided it needed to be replaced without question.

Running into funding barriers, we took it upon ourselves to raise the amount to purchase a new treadmill. Along with other Fulbrook staff's input, we hope to raise the amount to give the patients what they need to help them recover whilst on their admission to hospital.

Exercise can and is a known factor to benefit many mental health disorders, and can improve the lives of those who take part. Being admitted to hospital is never nice, and that is why we feel that our input into the patients' lives is so important.

So PLEASE help us raise the funds to give our amazing patients the much needed opportunity to benefit from using our fantastic services.
