POST MARATHON UPDATE:
Hi everyone, well I finally achieved the enormous challenge of running 26.2 miles/42.2 km, going through all sorts of emotions, seeing friends and family along the route kept me going and lifted my spirits. The atmosphere at The London Marathon was amazing with every person running for a special cause close to their heart.
St Mark’s Hospital Foundation is the very special charity I ran for. I want to sincerely thank each and everyone of you from the bottom of my heart for your extremely generous donations which I’m sure will make a big difference in the research and eventual cure of Bowel Disease. Thinking of you all spurred me on all the way to the finish line!
Thank you again,
Martin xx
PS: For those that were asking my Dad completed the Marathon in an amazing 3hrs 22mins 55 secs.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 28th April 2019 my amazing Dad, Martin, will be running the London Marathon. Over the last couple of years my Dad has put in endless hours of training to build up to this momentous occasion. We know he is going to do brilliantly and it would be great if he could raise some money along the way. The charity he is running for is one close to his heart. St. Mark’s helped him through a very difficult period a few years ago and he would love to be able to give something back. If you can, please take the time to read about the great work of St. Mark’s and show your support by sponsoring my Dad and enabling St. Mark’s to continue their fantastic work.
Thank you so much.
