In 2009 at the age of 46 with no prior warning, I suffered a stroke that left me with no feeling at all down the right side of my body and the inability to speak.

Having always been healthy and active, being unable to work, drive or even hold a conversation (all the things that I had always taken for granted), has not been easy. Without the support of my family and the staff and volunteers at Dyscover things could be very different.

I am taking part in the London to Brighton bike ride on 18th June 2017 in order to raise funds for Dyscover so that they can continue to help and support others like myself.
