We are 2 childhood friends that grew up on the same street and have known each other since the tender age of 3(possibly earlier) that have foolishly signed up to an event on 17th November 2012 known as 'Tough Mudder'. The event website describes it as “Probably the toughest event on the planet” - Hopefully exaggerating.

 

“Tough Mudder events are hardcore 12 mile-long obstacle courses designed by the Special Forces to test your all around strength, stamina, mental grit, and camaraderie. With the most innovative courses and half a million inspiring participants, Tough Mudder is the premier adventure challenge series in the world.”

People that know us know we like to 'try' and keep fit and chuck ourselves into any challenges – I am sure this will be the toughest challenge to date for both of us. The furthest we have run before at any 1 time is around 6 miles(not big fans of running.. ) so to double the distance whilst throwing in a series of obstacles that resemble the madness that is Takeshi's Castle it's sure to be a great test

 

We are both very keen to sponsor people that are taking time out of their lives to raise funds for charity so feel this is a good enough opportunity for us to get involved with our own fundraising.

 

We have both fully paid our entry into this event so all funds raised will go directly to the charities, please dig deep and donate. Any amount will help!
