Footsteps transforms the lives of orphans and street children…and much more. Managed by Christians, Footsteps works with trusted partners in Kenya where we run the Tumaini Children’s Home and Sunshine Centre for street boys, and provide, skills training, school fees and feeding programmes.

Story

This is my SEVENTH climb of Mt Kilimanjaro (Africa's highest mountain). Each time I say NEVER EVER AGAIN. Then I remember:

a) There are hundreds of Kenyan street kids and orphans who need a home, food and loving care (and Footsteps looks after them really well!),

b) I'm still up for a challenge and I still have some MAD friends who will help get me to the top!

So, welcome to my Never Again Kilimanjaro Climb (2016) page. I aim to be at the summit (19,340 feet) on the morning of Thursday 29th September.
