I've entered the 4 day Aberdovey Bike Ride.
The ride consists of 3 days in some of the most difficult and challenging hills that Wales can offer, starting from Wolverhampton , Tuesday 13 June, returning to Wolverhampton on Thursday , then finishing off on Friday 16 June riding from Wolverhampton to Aberdovey. 400 plus miles in total.
I'm not going to study the route or want to know anything about it because I might bottle it. All I can assure you is that I will complete it. It's just a bit of discomfort for a few days.
I'm no trick cyclist by any stretch of the imagination, but a 52 year old serving Police officer. I'm currently training hard cycling to work most days shifts allowing riding 50 miles a day.
All I ask is if you've got a little spare money. May be have just one less drink or have one less coffee, donate it to the charity I've chosen. Leonard Cheshire Disability.
If you've got time please take a look at their website https://www.leonardcheshire.org/
