Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Airfield Anarchy is an acclaimed mud run/OCR with 3 distances - 5km, 10km, 10 mile or all 3 for the brave/stupid, named the Epic Weekend challenge. So never wanting to take the easy ride to raise some money, we have decided to jump in the deep end (of the mud) and do all 3 in the Epic Weekend mud run! See photos below on what to expect. This would be a challenge for any father & daughter, there's got to be some weakness somewhere. I might be a little past my best and Jess, a petit pretty young lady but we have bags of determination and will smash this!

Autism is something we, as a family knew very little about, until the youngest child in our family was diagnosed with it last year, little Ollie.

Autism is a complex, life-long condition which affects the development of communication, social and life skills of around 700,000 people in the UK. However, the autistic spectrum is wide-ranging, meaning that no two individuals with autism are the same as it affects everybody differently. With the right structured support, education and care, so much can be done to help both children and adults with autism to live their lives as full and independent as possible. We have chosen to raise money for autism as it is very close to our hearts as a family. Our chosen charity is Autism East Midlands, who are the largest specialist autism charity in the East Midlands and have been dedicated to supporting people with autism since 1968. The money raised from this event will support the charity to continue offering services which help to meet the needs of children and adults with autism, their families and professionals working in the field of autism.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance!
