I'm running the Basingstoke half marathon in memory of my beautiful daughter Bethany Grace Hawkins. For those of you who know me will know that I'm no athlete and the only thing I can run is a bath!!

Why am I doing this? We lost Bethany to Group B Strep when she was just 2 days old in 2010! This ripped a piece of my heart out and hurts everyday. I want to turn my pain and heartache into something positive, I also want to stop other parents from going through what we did.

Fundraising for Gbs support will help raise much needed awareness of Group B Strep.
