I am the head teacher of Northfield Manor, which was Charlie's school.

Charlie's twin Archie still attends our school and his brother Jack left two years ago.

I have always wanted to cycle up one of the climbs on the Tour de France and raising money in the name of Charlie has made me determined to succeed.

Charlie was a joy to have in school and he always looked after Archie and  his friends.

We will also be raising money in school to pay for an observatory that will double as piece of play equipment to remember how Charlie loved his play times.

About the charity

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.
