Story

So I would never have been described by any of the people who know me as a runner. Yet here I am entering and planning to do a run.

I started running for myself and my family, to get fit, to live longer and to stop being such a massive fatty. It wasn't meant to be anything beyond that. Then I was held up in traffic by The Great Scottish Run 2018 and that started me thinking....what if I did that?

So I entered the 10k (not at all ready for a half marathon) to set myself a challenge.

Once I had done this I was looking for a Glasgow based charity which I really felt a connection with.

Step forward Funding Neuro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have worked with these guys as a tech and production manager on their fundraising events for a couple of years now and think what they are doing and how they go about it is simply brilliant.

So here we are I am (yes me, Matt Wilson) running the 10k for Funding Neuro. Please give generously and feel free to come along and watch me stagger across the line (hopoefully :D)
