Story
Not quite the running man...
I ran the Brighton half in February (2h 10m) and didn't hate it or end up in too much pain so figured 2 more in May & June when its so much hotter was a brilliant idea.
I wasn't planning on running for charity but since attending some mental health training at work I have connected with some friends who have had personal issues and gained a greater understanding of some of my own struggles over the years.
Being able to understand and offer help or support and seek it out when I need it has led to positive changes and a deeper appreciation as to how important this subject really is.
We all need to talk to each other more especially when we are not okay.
Raising awareness and vital funding for Mind in Croydon suddenly seemed like a sensible idea.
Only down side is I have to run 2 half marathons and earn your GENEROUS donations.
