Hi and thanks for visiting my Just Giving page.

I have decided to compete in the Olympic distance Virgin London Triathlon, which will be something to tick off of my 'Life-List'.

The race consists of: 1500m swim, 40km bike ride, 10km run.

I am competing, in order to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. As some people may be aware my mother had and beat cancer and she frequently donates to cancer support charities. I therefore felt this was quite a relevant charity to help raise money for.

I have set myself a target completion time of 3 hours 30 minutes.  Having had no previous traithlon experience and only giving myself 4 months training time; I would be extremely happy to beat this time. 

Donations of any amount would be greatly appreciated, as it really is for a great cause!
