In March 2009 Dad was diagnosed with motor neurone disease and was told he would have between 2 to 5 years to live. Unfortunately he died on 10th December 2009 from this disease. MND is a progressive disease and takes away your own independence, affecting how you walk, eat, drink and breathe, although not all symptoms happen to everyone suffering from the disease. I am wanting to raise money to help with research in the hope 1 day there will be a cure.
