Story

The JDRF Alpe d'Huez Alpine Challenge is JDRF's first global fund raising event. It is being supported by 27 riders from around the world participating in a 150km ride finishing on top of Alpe d'Huez to raise money to help find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes.

Alpe d'Huez is one of the most prestigious and challenging climbs in the Tour de France and this year, riders in the Tour will race the same climb 5 days after we have completed our challenge.

Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) funds groundbreaking research into type 1 diabetes and its complications. The ultimate goal is to find the cure. This will be achieved by continuing to raise money to fund the best research wherever it may take place in the world.
