Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

And the story goes..... this old bird has decided it is never to late to try something new and you never to old! But in truth it was a drunken Sunday afternoon in the jacuzzi, full of bravado and fuelled with alcohol - I committed myself to running the Disney marathon! Needless to say my two friends that was helping to fuel the alcoholic mad blabber are Runners! The one has done 4 marathons! So here I was, committed, paid, and started training. But January 2015 feels a lifetime away and I needed something to focus on. 

Bupa Great South Run - 10 miles and combining this with raising money for the charity closest to my heart CANCER RESEARCH.  I lost both my parents to CANCER. So many of us knows somebody family member, friend, acquaintance that is battling the fight against cancer or that has lost that fight. 

I believe that research can BEAT CANCER!
