Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit Max and Ben's JustGiving page.

After listening to an advert on the radio, for a charity requesting people to fundraise for them, Ben asked me what it meant. After explaining  it all to him, Ben announced 'I want to do that for Todd.'

Todd, who is 12 years old, is the children's cousin and has heartbreakingly recently had a (Stage 3) brain tumour removed. With no previous symptoms, Todd was diagnosed in January after suffering a seizure and has just completed his first round of treatment which consisted of 6 weeks of intensive radiation and chemotherapy. He begins another 6 months of chemotherapy on 15th May. When we asked his mum and dad what charity they would like the boys to support, they said Candlelighters, a Childhood Cancer charity based in Yorkshire which helps and supports families like Todd's throughout their journey.

Max and Ben have both entered the Junior 1.5k at the Edinburgh Marathon Festival on Saturday 30th May. They would be delighted if you could support their cause and raise as much money as possible 'for Todd'
