Max and Alfie 8 hour den challenge · 9 May 2020

Cardiff & Vale Health Charity is the official charity of Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. Support YOUR local hospital. Help our NHS staff and patients have additional equipment and other extra resources in these difficult times.

Story

Max and Alfie have built a den in Alfie and his twin brother Noah’s bedroom. They are challenging themselves to remain in the den for 8 hours. They will take a 5 minute break every hour to stretch their legs and take toilet breaks when required. Aside from this they will remain in the den. They will be supported by their brother and sister Noah and Chloe who will provide drinks, food and much needed encouragement. They have been inspired by VE stories this week and through play replicated a bomb shelter.  This has developed into a challenge to raise funds for NHS heroes currently working on the frontline catering for patients during the current pandemic.  The challenge is now set!
