On 17 March 2008 after living in an abusive marriage for many years, I experienced my candlestick moment.  In an instant I knew I had to take action and leave my home, my husband and my marriage.  Stonham provided a refuge to me and my three children.  For three months we lived a simple life, but we had all we needed: a roof over our heads, food in our stomachs, each other, and time to think in peace and safety.  I am forever grateful that this resource was available to us.

4 years later and I am a certified Life Coach empowering women to escape from the life that is causing them pain and helping them to discover and live a life of Love, Passion, Happiness and Joy.

I hope that you are never in a position where you need to take refuge yourself, but just imagine, if you were.  Wouldn’t you want to know that this option was available to you and your children?
