We want to support a local charity who we all have a profound connection with in some way or other, and who better to choose than the Beatson Cancer Charity. 

The Beatson has been, and still is, an incredibly important part of some of our closest family members lives by providing invaluable care and support to them, as well as to 8,000 other new patients they see every single year. 

The Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre is an internationally renowned cancer centre and the busiest in the UK in terms of clinical activity and patient numbers. The centre covers a catchment area of 2.5 million people across the West of Scotland - alarmingly where more than one in three people are affected by cancer, which is the highest cancer rate in Europe.

The Beatson are determined to beat cancer and committed to securing significant funding to support and enhance the treatment, care and wellbeing of current, former and future cancer patients and their families. 

As a huge thank you to the Beatson for their fantastic work over the years, we are running (some of us crawling!) the 10km to raise money in honour of the Beatson, and our family members who have benefitted immensely from the wonderful work of their staff. 

Our team of 5 runners from the office are all from varying degrees of fitness and experience, where much training and determination is already underway! Any donations you make are hugely welcomed and appreciated greatly to help us reach our collective McKnight Financial Group goal.
