Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am travelling 1800km around Europe on a MeMover www.me-mover.com which is like a stand up 3 wheeled bike and uses a stepping action to move you forward.

My journey will start in Copenhagen, Denmark and take me through Northern Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, France, finishing in Lausanne Switzerland. I will be travelling alone, carrying my food and staying in hostels and B&B's.

The reason I am doing this is to show an alternative fun way of keeping fit which can be an intense workout or a steady ride and fit into a short space of time. We (the MeMover company and myself) also want to show people this innovative and fun way of exercising for all ages because being active and healthy can prevent type 2 diabetes and heart disease hence why we hope to raise lots for Diabetes UK. There are also suggestions people with type 2 diabetes can bring their sugar levels back to normal with a healthy diet and being active which is still be researched but is a positive step.
