Story
We are a group of year 5 Edinburgh medical students performing a musical in aid of the Anne Rowling Regenerative Neurology Centre. This year, the musical is loosely based on the first of the popular Harry Potter books, and is entirely written, managed and performed by 5th year medical students. It follows the protagonists first year at Hogwards Medical School as they fight the evil Dr Victor Oldemort and aim to save the NHS from privatisation.
The musical will run from the 4th to the 7th April in Pleasance Theatre, Edinburgh and all profits will be donated to the Anne Rowling Centre where many of us have previously undertaken neurology placements.
The Anne Rowling Centre is fundraised for by the University of Edinburgh Development Trust, a registered charity in Scotland. The centre investigates major brain disorders including Multiple Sclerosis and Motor Neurone Disease, for which there is no known cure.
The clinic was founded in 2013 with the support of Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling in memory of her late mother, Anne Rowling, who died of complications of Multiple Sclerosis.
We would be grateful for any support you can offer us in reaching our fundraising targets for this amazing cause - and obviously please come along and see what promises to be an incredible show! All donations given through JustGiving will go directly to the Anne Rowling Clinic.
All of the money raised through this page will be donated to the Anne Rowling Clinic.
