Story

MenVMiles 2019 is a mamouth challenge to cycle the length of Great Britain from John O’Groates to LandsEnd.  In just 8 days we will be cycling 960 Miles and climbing just under twice the height of Mt Everest. We will be averaging approximately 120 miles per day.

Normally this challenge would take between 10-18 days  due to the severity of the route.

So let me introduce you to 5 normal men who sat down one evening over a curry and having competed in a variety of long distance sporting events, we were looking for our next challenge. Having each suffered from some kind of mental health issues in our lives, and found that cycling has improved our health. We decided to support the amazing charity The Campaign Against Living Miserably. (CALM) is leading a movement against male suicide, the single biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK.

Mental Health, in its many forms still has a massive stigma around the subject and although awareness improves, men in particular find it difficult to talk.

Our Message is;  ‘It’s OK not to be OK’
