Cambridge TTP Half Marathon · 6 March 2022

We provide life-changing support services for women and girls across Cambridgeshire who have been subjected to any form of sexual violence and abuse, at any time in their lives. With your help, we can support even more women and girls to survive and thrive.

‘I am not free while any other woman is unfree’ (Audre Lorde)

I am running the Cambridge Half Marathon this March for all ‘unfree’ women.

Over 1 in 5 women have experienced sexual assault as adults. This translates to over 70 women every hour. That’s 70 women’s lives upturned in the time you spend at a single lecture, or watching a single tv episode.

And, in a post-MeToo, fourth-wave-feminist age, sexual assault isn’t something that we can simply hit pause on. It’s charities like CRCC that constitute the building blocks to reassembling survivors’ lives, providing specialist emotional, therapeutic, and advocacy support services.

£5 can give a survivor a self-care package for support through testifying in court.

£25 can fund a volunteer’s training for emotional support services.

£50 can give a survivor one specialist therapy session.
