My dream is coming true. In June 2022, I will compete at the Special Olympics USA Games! This is my first time being selected to participate and I am preparing and training multiple times a week.

I am a Special Olympics New York athlete and have participated in Special Olympics New York competition for 12 years in swimming, floor hockey, softball, and volleyball. I have helped my floor hockey team win gold at Special Olympics NY State Games for the last 4 years.

I have always admired Michael Phelps because he has ADHD, but did not let that hold him back from becoming a champion.

What makes me the most proud is being selected to Team NY for USA Games. I am very excited for this opportunity to meet new people and athletes from other states. I can't wait to bring home the gold for Team New York! Thank you for your support.
