Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I've been in training since mid-Jan but until now have kept it quiet because I wasn't sure if I would get this far!  Now there's no turning back but I still need your help - Orbis is a charity for the blind -  39 milliion people world-wide.  I chose this charity because 80% is treatable and a small ammount of money goes a long long way so please dig deep!

 

Now that I've taken some of your hard earnt money (and thanks for donating by the way) I thought I should let you in on a little secret...

 

I really did my knee a couple of weeks ago -  a partial ligament tear (see the photo if you don't believe me) - I've not done any training since and it's really 50/50 whether I'm going to make it through - with 2 days to go it still hurts to walk.

I am however going to still give it a shot.  If I have to pull out through injury then I promise to run another marathon in a couple of months time
