A Christmas for others

Fundraising for Checkemlads.com Testicular Cancer Awareness and Support
raised of £500 target
We provide support and push awareness to to Men and their loved ones across the UK.

Smarter Cover this year we have decided to
support Testicular Cancer UK. We have always taken this time of year to celebrate what we have achieved, but at the same time consider those around us and the challenges they are facing.

Each and every pound donated will make a difference, and if that seems hard to believe, consider why people buy lottery tickets. Each contribution gets us closer to that winning ticket. The prize won't be a multi million pound win, but someones life, and that of a loved one, a chance to create memories.

Testicular cancer has survival rates of over 95%.Although men of all ages can get testicular cancer it's mostly younger men, the average age is 28. Still classed as a rare cancer it is on the increase in the UK and unfortunately it is mostly younger men who are too shy to go to the doctor or even check their own testicles that are at most risk from long term treatments and risk to their lives . If found early testicular cancer is almost always treated with just removing the testicle.  Before the 1970's Testicular cancer had a low survival rate but since development of Cisplatin based chemotherapy by Prof Laurie Einhorn from Indiana university the survival rate over time has become over 95 percent .
