Story
This October, I'll be running the Royal Parks Half Marathon in aid of Blood Cancer UK. This is a charity of particular importance to me. If it weren't for their great work, as well as the work of countless medical professionals and other charities around the world, I wouldn't have met my (much) better half. Gaby fought and survived blood cancer in her childhood, and thanks to the work of Blood Cancer UK, hopefully there is a future where other children and parents won't have to go through the same things she and her family did. We'll be running this half marathon together and anything you can donate to this worthy cause would be much appreciated, so that Blood Cancer UK can keep doing what they do best!
"We're a community dedicated to beating blood cancer. We do this by funding research and supporting those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. Right now, our community is funding 360 researchers and staff across the UK who are searching for the next breakthrough. The day we will beat blood cancer is now in sight and the researchers are determined to finish the job."
