Story

Story

Deirdre and Michael  last did the Swimathon in 2015 and raised over £3000 pounds - for which many thanks.  We are now entering  Swimathon 2020 – the World’s largest annual fundraising swim.

Since 2015 there have been a couple of hiccups between us - heart surgery and pulmonary embolism - but spurred on by his "training partner " Deirdre (as described by the pool attendants), Michael is determined that we should complete 3500 metres(over 2 miles)  between us - distances to be allocated nearer the day.
(175 lengths of David Lloyd or 140 of the Lewisham larger pool).

Our swim  will again be at Charlton Outdoor Lido  - 50 metres. We plan to do this in the next week or so.

Please support these wonderful charities and the 21,000 other swimmers who will be joining us.

If you have received this request more than once our apologies - some of our address lists might have duplications.

Many thanks

Deirdre and Michael
