On the Saturday 4th October I will be taking part in my first 1/2 Marathon 13.2 Miles ( Great Scottish Run)
I have been training for 10 months , Road running in winter months , Ice ,hail & snow , through to the summer months again ice , hail & some sun !!
Injury stopped my running for 6 weeks , so I took up Swimming to cross train & now I Train in both 3 times a week , as well a rowing & weight training & anything else that sends my Heart rate up to 169 ppm!
I'm raising money for Cash for Kids responding to the needs of children in our communities so they can live life to the full and realise their individual potential.
I believe giving back to our community is a value we all share together.
