I am going to be taking on a little run on the 19th June 2021 in memory of my Sister, Julie, and to raise funds for Breast Cancer Support.

On the 17th October 2020 my family's world was devastated as Julie lost her battle against this cruel disease.  

Running is the only thing I can do to remember her by and to try and help end this disease.

I have run Marathons before and have always been supported so well by my family, especially by my Sisters, Caroline and Julie.  It's incredible how much it helps getting the text messages wishing me good luck. Running a race and not getting a message from Julie will be especially hard.

So my aim is to run, with probably a lot of walking, in one go through to the finish.  I may need a torch at towards the end but I will finish!

Race to the King is a 53 mile trail ultra Marathon. From picturesque Arundel, the route winds along the spectacular South Downs Way, ending on the steps of Winchester Cathedral, one of the most historically significant buildings in Britain and claimed burial ground of twelve English kings, making it England’s first ever Royal Mausoleum.
